We all rather enjoyed the 2009 Kentucky Derby Festival. Getting around to all of the festivities is almost impossible but we managed to enjoy many of them.

Bristol's favorite was the Great Steamboat Race while Lindsey, Shelly and Valorie were torn between Thunder Over Louisville and the Pegasus Parade! The Barnstable Brown Party was the highlight for me personally. It was great to meet many celebrities. Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, Kim Kardashian and Brook Shields were among those rubbing our elbows. I especially enjoyed meeting a nice couple from Boston and being involved in the dismay and thrill they showed taking it all in!

Sure wish I had put some money on Mine That Bird to win the 2009 Kentucky Derby.

The girls are all excited and looking forward to the 2010 Kentucky Derby Festival as well as The 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games and capping next year off with The 2010 Breeders' Cup World Championships.
